Not much contact with the freehub body. It's gonna take a sledge hammer to get this off at the end of a season!

Yah especially with an aluminum freehub body like the one on my Chris King. If it was designed for downhill id say sure but I guess it more towards the XC spectrum where your going to be putting a lot more torque on the drivetrain, what with all those climbs and stuff. So yah I could definitely see removal being an issue.
