to adjust rebound so as your shreading down the mountain you dont dave to lean forward and adjust it by hand you can just do it by nudging the lever, im pretty sure, but its a pretty crazy concept

Doesn't need to be hydro, the mechanical ones were just fine.

Foreplay first - it's not rebound, it's Sram's Hydraulic Poploc Lockout.

So why that hose goes to compression adjuster?

flag seraph (Oct 28, 2009 at 12:33)
Well if you think about it, lockout is basically achieved by increasing the compression.

Crazy integration of brake, lever and pop lock for the fork. Bet it works so much better than cable options.

What if I dont want that fork... what if I only want the brakes?

flag ukal (Oct 27, 2009 at 11:36)
what exactly do u mean you "only want the brakes?"? that is just an extra option u can buy xx brakes with pretty normal levers. You can also buy additionaly this little nice thing to integrate shifter and lever

I know you can integrate the shifter and brakes, that is not what I am talking about. There is a hydraulic switch attached to the brake that is used specifically for the fork "Poploc Lockout". If I run a Fox fork, I have no use for this additional hydraulic adjustment... it won't even be compatible.

THANK YOU. I was still confused after UKAL's comment because it looks like brake lever and poploc are all one machined piece.
