got my brother to thank for it... he has done all the bodywork and paint, built me a brand new engine and gear box and sorted me out all the radio stuff

he has one hehe he can gring ledges and stuff but he maily rides 4x hehe

cheers, they just rust up sooo bad its annoying especially for an everyday car :/ just got rid of most of it though so not too bad

well mine still has some rust on the left side but really cba to do it this year the weather is just too shitty to do anything in :/ and i want fiberglass doors so they dont rust but they are soooo expensive :-O ial get some more pics soon-ish

Nice one man, yeah i hate the rust but on the door side its still way cheaper to get glassfibre or carbon fibre then genuine steel ones its crazy, but it would still be like £400 for a pair of glassfibre doors, your better off just buying door skins there much cheaper alternative unless its rusting the inner part of the door? Anyways yeah it would be awesome to see some more pics i'll post up a new one when the new bonnets fitted.

yer just fitted a door skin but need a passenger side one and passeger side a pannel :/ rust sucks soooo much and coolio ial get some more pics soon as i get the internet working on my computer

haha really!? does he have any pics of it on PB? mk2's are gettin harder and harder to come by over here.....mine is getting up there in miles, but i can't bring myself to get rid of it, even if i find a replacement lol!

noor but ial get some and they are soo common over here hehehe see so many mk1 and mk2 gti's its untrue though there is like a vw garage near so thats probs why and yer they are nice. compared to the mini the build quality is awesome...would much rather have a mk1 than mini just insurance is high :/

ummmcosts me under £700 over here on classic insurance and the car is probs worth twice as much as i put into it
