I highly doubt it is anywhere near 23 or even 25 for than matter, they are light bikes. but i doubt they are that light.

not 23 or wat ever lbs because that fork isnt 4 lbs those rims are heavy tires are heavy the olny thing light are cranks and frame

flag creamsoda (Nov 3, 2009 at 21:55)
675g for black sheep rims, 690g per microknobby tire, and the 4x only weighs 4 pounds if you happen to cut off the steerer and drain the fork oil.

if any of you want to see it on the scale i have the picture on my phone and i'll text it to you
just to prove u wrong
  • + 1
flag creamsoda (Nov 4, 2009 at 8:37)
why can't you post it up? in any case it's real easy to fake a scale shot, lol. case in point

also, the 4x is known to weigh 5.2, not 4, the 4 pound weight is without fork oil and steerer... i was about to buy one for the weight, but reneged because it weighed more than the fork it was supposed to replace.

just wondering how you can get such a ridiculosly heavy wheelset with... what hubs? to weigh just over 23 pounds.

could you list the full spec down to the spokes and hubs? that seatpost weighs over half a pound when it's uncut...

flag bikesbeforebabes (Nov 5, 2009 at 5:57)
i cant post it cause its on my phone u f*ckin moron, are you stupid, its easy to see the scale says 23.25 lbs in the pic it isnt fake ur just retarded why are you going to such a far extent to try to prove me wrong when im going to show you this picture and ur gonna be f*cking wrong, ur an idiot and its not worth ur time to try to prove me wrong, idf you reallly think its wrong give me ur f*cking cell number and i can text you 2 pictures of it on the scale, its a 3 megapixel camera so it should be very easy to see unless ur a f*cking hellen keller or something

flag creamsoda (Nov 5, 2009 at 9:56)
f*cking moron? hey, don't blame me you're too dumb to figure out a way to transfer crap off your phone, that you lost the data cable or can't use bluetooth. a 3 megapixel camera on a phone would no doubt have capabilities to get pictures onto a computer if... you weren't a "f*cking moron", or "retarded".

in case you haven't noticed i was not being hostile with you, i asked for a spec list and not the picture, because a nearly stock 4hun cannot reach that weight w/o some heavy modding, or by going brakeless/rigid. you are the "f*cking moron" for going all offensive in this situation, you can re-read all my comments and realize i was not being offensive or hostile to you.

again, it would be nice to see a FULL spec list including all mods i.e. cut seatpost, removed coil cartridge from the 4x to have it reach 4 pounds or whatever you did to achieve that weight, because almost all of the visible components ARE NOT THAT LIGHT.

flag bikesbeforebabes (Nov 5, 2009 at 10:38)
yeah you trying to question me on something that is stupid, first of all the phone was bought used, with no cable, im sorry i couldnt afford a brand new one, i havent checked into finding out how to put it on the computer and when you drop the crazy heavy stem, handlebars, front brake, shifting, chainguide, tubes. i think that would be easy to drop that weight

flag bikesbeforebabes (Nov 5, 2009 at 10:40)
and if u dont believe me you can ask the obvious witnesses of it being on the scale like harry (frolosophy) or troy (stkittsrider) and IF YOU HAVE A PHONE I CAN TEXT IT TO YOU not that hard to give me ur number

flag bikesbeforebabes (Nov 5, 2009 at 10:42)
and if you didnt see my 4x is an 09, the one you display is an 08, but if a differnce there, you might as well be comparing an 04 888 to an 09 888 and my steerer tube is half the length of that one
