did some fork-swapping: the Syren had the Totem, and the VP-Free had a dual-crown 888.
i put a Talas on the Syren, and the Totem on the Free.

good eye! it's a Fox Talas 36 that was gray like the crown. i spray-painted it white with car paint and bought the stickers on eBay. i really should have clear-coated the stickers, maybe later.

good job, how did you stop the paint getting inside the lowers? did you plug them with newspaper or something?

i didn't take the fork apart aside from the bolts and thru-axel. just masking tape and a little patience Smile
