That's the older frame design, the newer ones came with the shock mount on the downtube rather than the top tube

No, it's not. King Fishers never came with the shock mount on the top tube, except for the smallest frame size, and this is the small frame size.

Wow i never noticed that, mine has the shock mount on the down tube, and its a medium i think. Looks good though.
