Tire is hurtin' man.
chop the side knobs off the SB8- takes a long time, but you get less of that shitty scrub in hardpack/street cornering.
Rhythm Lites do everything better than Small Blocks except hanging from a scale. But even then it isn't much of a penalty. Just pretend they're called the Maxxis Rhythm Lite, or better yet the Dobermann Rhythm Lite.
@ Creamsoda, Rim actually have a bump in it and is kinda f*cked.
@ dkidd, I'll maybe do it. That's what I did to the tire on the rear.

well this frame has great width clearance, just not great height clearance. there's no need to clip the side knobs of the sb8.
just to double check though, take a picture of your dropouts and seatstay yoke for me please, because i heard that the 09 has better 26" tire clearance than the 08.

New tirees soon, thanks to Cody
I'm 6'2" but I'll cut a bit of it, I had to add a spacer that I didn't needed on my old frame, I'm just lazy. I'll cut the steertube one day. An Drew, (L)
