direct mount stems scare me enough as is, But a drilled one!? this is up there with my scraper bike.

im really uneasy about directmount because if they fail, they will do damage. or hell even if you crash, there is no give in the stem which can f*ck up your stem, bars, crown and lowers.

although its pretty interesting i dont think ill be riding one anytime soon.

Death will come on the next ride,i don't see no point why you drill holes in a DM stem,it weakens the structure of the stem and that for a weight saving of 30g.If you are smart don't ride it and Twenty6 wouldn't put that under the waranty issue's,i don't want to sound like a ass but you have f*cked up a DM stem.

Ryan you might as well take $130.00 and burn it, what a waste of money. That thing will break and you will lose control of your bike. Very very dumb idea. That thing was already as minimanlist as it could go and your not an engineer, when they design parts they take every riders life in their hands...your life is now in just your hands. I am dumbfounded!!!

ok I'v had my fun with this... The stem was faulted from factory the clamp bores were uneven so to get the warenty replacement twenty 6 said ruin the arms send pictures and we will send a replacement just did this for shits and giggles there is no way in hell I would run that
