You could easily take a grinder or dremel and make that brake boss flush with the tube. Is that a scrambler btw?

don't think I wanna cut that bar out because it has to give a little structural support, gonna put in a 32c after this tire wears out, the 35c is overkill

I'm not talking about removing the bar. just grinding the square brake boss in the center of the bar to be rounded and to be flush with the bar. so it looks like a bare with a hole in it.

Oh I see, not a bad idea but I don't wanna have to deal with painting it after the griding.
