question...can regular skateboard trucks be used on longboard? do they need special bearing too? thought i could convert a normal skateboard to one by changing the wheels

well its only a "longboard" by the way you use it. so longoards have hard weels for a style of riding called slyding, and yess u can use regular standard kingpin skate trucks for longboarding, make sure they arent to tight or you lose the hole longobard feeling. and if u where gonna just be cruzin arround i would get softer wheels cuz its easier on you and all the ppl that hear it lol. what alot of ppl do with a skateboard deck is drill out the holes for the trucks on the nose and tail so both trucks are wedged up, it goves u a larger foot platform and the wedging makes the stake trucks alot more carvy. any other questions feel free to ask!

thanks. found some longboard on an internet shop in China..speed demon brand but pretty pricy. converted to us dollars...would cost about $250..and no replacement wheels. might wait till i go back to england to get one
