paint isnt going to stay there forever.
and the pressure caused when it has a fork/bar tightened on, will cause the paint to crack.
So when the fork/bar is moved again, chances are that paint is gonna be coming off a lot easier.

you can see the grooves of where the bars sit. So it is not a metal scratch.
