I have Lx cranks on my dirt/street bike. Did you break them? Little woried now.

Yeah, I broke mine in about two hours out of the box. Broke my ankle as a result.

Ah thats no good then. Did you break your axle or what? I bought them for the weight actually. Not verry smart.

It you broke them 2 hours out of the box you were clearly doing something wrong..

Yeh, Shimano cranks are strong enough for almost any application. Saints are overkill IMO.
When you say you shaved the cranks, what do you mean?

Nope, there was nothing wrong with them. The arm snapped in half around the pedal spindle.

I mean I took off the anodized paint off it. It has a "Jeff Jones" look now.
