haha no jokes mate you wont sell that for £150 its just a comon saracen, with no brakes ( bad thing) single speed its not single speed its just got no cables cheap forks.

im not mouthing ya bike but id take any offer around £50 if i was you

it jsut wont sell for anything more

downhill1409, I think those wheels also came stock on Saracen Raw2 bikes 10 years ago. What bike did your wheels come off?

And it rode fine, I don't know why all the hating on Saracen. Obviously any bike below £500 is gonna be a little weak if you're gonna jump it off a cliff LOL For the money they were quality 10 years ago. I'm not so sure about recent years when they became complete halfords bikes but it seems they are going back to their old ethos now.

yeah those wheels came off my old saracen raw! your really know your stuff Wink

the forks, bars and seat did two i think, iff i remember rightly. lol. iff i had some spare money i would love to put some decent parts on it e.g. some decent cranks and a disc brake on mabie a ss setup. id probabley keep th forks althou ther have like 50mm of travel their really springy and are awsome for dirt jumps and street riding.

Forks definately did, I remember them =) And I think I remember that bar and stem being on Raw bikes too =)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with these frames if built up with some nice parts, screw the snobbery!

Some decent cranks on this baby would be nice. I wouldn't bother with SS though as the frame has vertical dropouts. Chain tensioners are a bit poop in my opinion. This frame just wasn't designed for SS and nothing wrong with gears as long as you have a chain guide =) If you're jumping this I'm amazed those wheels aren't square shaped by now!

yeahhhhhh, urm well the wheels are kinda knackerd hahaha, they need new bearings, spokes, and rims lol, so basicaly there knakkerd Smile

so i think some new wheels cranks and a hydro back break and it would be sorted.
i like the feel of the frame and forks so much, the geo feels awsome, its somewere inbetween a 4x bike and a bmx. iu love it! Smile

I read wrong, I thought you said X-ess but you're still not right.

X-cells were only produced in polished silver and yellow during that era.

X-iles were black and this colour - http://freespace.virgin.net/john.hendy/xile.gif

There was also a ltd edition frame in polished silver (not the X-ray) that was 24" specific. Can't remember which it was badged though.

And there was also the X-Tort that was a completely different shape - http://www.moredirt.co.uk/bikes/7505.jpg

I've had 2 X-ile frames and an X-ess and I have a friend who used to work for Saracen so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about...

It's an x-ile. I had one 10 years ago and it came stock with those wheels.
