One of my mates actually did this (didn't quite lay it out as tidily) to his MK2 golf, took nearly 4 weeks to strip and rebuild completely... on the plus side the car drove smoother when it was rebuilt than it ever was before :L

evry 1 doesnt think of a car like that they just think it has and engine 4 wheels ect it goes thats it buut theres a lot to a car tbh

Yep theyre complex things and generally if one thing is broken, the rest doesnt work.
