honestly i think you should cut off atleast two feet, if anything your going to go really high.... then straight down onto the "kicker", this would be the perfect quarter if it was wider... just not a kicker
actually ill go really f*cking high, clear an 8 foot gap and land on a 10 foot tall landing.

ya I understand. I might be coming down to that area of the state sometime this winter to ride with friends. Maybe I'll stop by.

not even vert... and who said i wanted it to be mellow? i based it off of other jumps i've ridden, there just 9 hours from were i live.

I dont know why all these people are bashing you. it will work just fine if you have the speed to hit it.
with religion you may have hope, but science will actually make it happen, or perhaps not in this case

wat the f*ck, mate if you are planning on actually going anywhere then you need to have a serious roll-in before it (maybe bob burnquist will lend you his mega ramp for a while)
One quick way out of killing yourself, cut off the flat top and use it the other way round, that way you should have more luck clearing 8ft, or just make it wider and have a quater pipe
i guess you havnt taken physics yet?, take the class before you hit it, i did the calculations if anything the most gap ull clear is 3.7 ft and thats only if your going 20mph.. good luck

I have build many dirt jumps. I have ridden many more dirt jumps. I have my fair share of DJ building knowledge so honestly listen to my advice.
That is WAY too sudden for how tall it is and it's going to feel absolutely terrible! My advice would be to cut it in between the top brown tree knot and the one below it...
