OMG; poor guy, that is an amazing photograph tho, the middle one. is soo cool you can see all the oil coming out. and the fork snow plowing. and the rider, is looking at hos own crash I like that. where he is staring down the line that the fork makes. right at his face in the other pic, nice job all round,

I think his stanchions were too long and they were put under to much stress......just look at the picture of his fork in the first photo.....there is no way you could have that much travel

The fork was falling out, thats why it was so long. he didn't snap it, as far as I can tell, whoever assembled the forks did it wrong...Or manitou malfuncitioned again, I don't see a snap though

hes running a manitou travis, and because they have the arch on the other side, he has to put the stanchions to the maximum length, or it will hit the frame when bottomed out, this probabilly caused too much stress like daneel said

either that, or they just fell off, lol
