Probably get an LG1+ chainguide. Then I can run without a bashgaurd and save even more weight.

Don't really need the LG1 for that. Just put a dime between the chain and the top guide, then tighten er down. I ran it like this for season with no problems. Take your old bash, cut it in half and mount it to your back plate for a cheaper & lighter taco.
