A bit but overall I feel its a substantial upgrade. Like the jumbo frets over the medium makes navigating the higher frets much easier. Also the back of the neck feels much flatter allows for a better grip

Yea when I switch from my gio to RG it feels just more solid overall. The only thing I wish Ibanez did before selling these is sand down the section of the neck where it meets the body, I find it's too bulky when you are getting to the 15th fret and above.

very true but overall very happy with both my guitars best bang for the buck as far as im concerned
