It's the touring version of the older XT craankset. So it comes with larger chainrings and a slightly wider axle. I had to grind the granny tabs off, and make my own 1.5mm axle spacer so it could clear it the frame with a reasonable distance (I'm talking like MAYBE 4mm clearance from crankarms on either side of seat stays) I'm still working on making it 100% good to go though ;]
I thought I remembered you saying something about how putting your Totem on the M6 would be blasphemous...
im sure it will look just as good I like the totem on there though but I agree its more of a downhill bike.
hell yeah man!!! I was out with broken collarbone for a long time so I figured I might as well wait until I can get the sickest thing I can get to come back!
Touring version. Shave the granny tabs to the max, and remove a spacer, I think. (Correct meh if im wrong)
Did they have that option with the older style XT cranks? under the impression that it was only the newer ones.
I think m761's were the first year they started doing that... and these cranks are pretty old. I think they have a solid 4 years of riding on them, Shimano quality!!
And thanks man, now I just need a fork... and bawls to drill my carbon MRP backplate

I was joking man... I have 4 ISCG03 guides but no ISCG05
