i love those comments ... photoshopped! thats way to funny people need to realize that most quality photos has some raw adjustment is some kind of editing program... this should be pod based on the fact that hermo is railing the corner like a champ... if it was photoshopped to add contrast in the colours it does nothing except make it better

kona-caton.. he got this shot during a photo shoot with marc landry... he railed the corner i think he said 40 or 50 times that day trying to get super low... he fell a few times hence the dirt... this is one of the many times he stuck it though...

this Photo is a bit too centered in my opinion. Slightly boring composition, other than those two things, I think that it is an excellent photo and does deserve pod. someone has some nice glass on their camera thats for sure. so crisp

ur definetly a photographer or someone with knowledge of it. The guy that i was shooting with said just about the same thing when we were trying to shoot that corner. That and trying to not get the shot with that tree right in front of my head

Thanks guys! Yes I do alot of photography, and used to frequent forums to help people improve. Sometimes a centered shot is ok. I can tell the photographer knew what he was doing. he did a good job of keeping that tree away from his head. thanks for the positive comment

raceface evolve DH, compared to what people are running these days they are pretty tight. But i race a lot of xc too so the crossover from a narrower bar to a wider bar always feel like im trying to drive a bus. so i like the feel of a slightly shorter than "trendy" bar on my big bike Smile

On the contrary, I think this is an excellent shot. Composition is tight, check how the rider is centered between the two trees in the background... colors are nice and saturated, but not overdone (as is much the style these days - and something I'm guilty of) - focus is critically spot on, exposure is perfect, and the flash (I think I can see evidence) is not overdone nor does the flash make the photo.

Nope, this just good, old fashioned great photography. Very well done.
