The centre is the worn part, the outer knobs I cut.

I was focusing my statement on the centre part.

Well there ya go. I should note this used to be a Small Block, not a Rhythm Lite.

Haha! Now I know what know to ride. I can't wait for the Rhythm lites on my pinscher. It's sad I don't even have the frame yet though.

Yeah.. CR weren't you riding Rhythm lites? What happened to them?

Still on the front, I still think it's a better tire. But even though the Majesty clears it side to side, it's too tall to slam in the dropouts. So I put this narrow-ass tire, which is spread out by my rim and clears the frame in all directions.

Classic. Weight?

I have no idea. I did this to get more frame clearance, because my 729 is far from true. If I had to guess, I'd say it's pushing the 400g barrier. That said, I can't see too much bad coming from this. I've NEVER worn down the corner knobs on any of the...5? 7? SB8s I've had. IF they're in the way, f*ck 'em.

Yeah. These'll be fast to roll and fast to wear.

Hint: True it.

Any part of it that's going to wear has already worn past the point of affecting performance. When I took them off they were just as bald as this, but with corner knobs. Think of it as going from a bald spot to a shaved head.

The 1.95" SB8 has far lower knobs than the others. And I commute street almost errday. 20KM round trip if I ride my bike to school.
