man kona stinkys are riding by pros they arnt good enough for a pro pros ride crazy bikes the pro frames are worth more then you stinky (take in mind cam mccauls trek ticket)that frame is better then a stinky complete and an pro bike has fox forks and stuff

wow this discussion sucks, then compare a rememdy slopestyle to it, it can take more than a stinky, 6" travel and only mccaul has one (semenuk has a 4" travel one) and its a hell of a lot lighter and stronger. discussion conclusion: there are better bikes than a stinky with 888s now shut up

Kona's are nice bikes if you buy the frame and build them to your own liking, I ride one myself. They are NOT however the best bikes. No where near. The fact that they are an accessible price to your average guy makes them a good contender though.

Bass and Cowan are the same frame. I've never seen a cracked stinky in person. The fact of the matter is that there are more Kona's around than other bikes. Do you honestly think Kona would refuse to address a cracking issue if there was one? I've seen more Kona's in person than I have Intenses, and yet I've seen 3 broken Intense frames and only 1 broken Kona - Your going to tell me an Intense M6 is a shit bike?

with all bikes they have to be used for the purpose, try using a rockhopper, for example, for full on WC DH, it wont survive, but kona's don't do their intended application as well as others, maybe with kona's rep they may want for focus on XC where they wont be doing drops more then 3 foot....
