Looks good. Only thing which would make it better is a higher end body/lens really. A 25px or so black boarder might give it a little more pop. Maybe open up the aperture a little next time too.
I'm all for constructive criticism, so thanks. I don't understand how you say using a higher end body/lens would make it better? It's sharp enough for me and the colours aren't too washed out. Was taken with 40D + 28-135, not pro equipment by any means but still adequete. I'm going to give the border thing a go, see how it comes out. It was at f/6.4 so I could've opened it up a little bit more. Cheers
I was shooting the WC with a 30D! I recently used a Nikon D200 with 10-20mm fisheye for some book cover work, the difference between the two camera's is just amazing. I love the dynamic range that you get with the bigger sensors, I think that makes a big difference to shots like this.
A wider aperture would deffo look the shizz here though
