Gotta pay attention??? Ya I know your bike is older model by your brakes and forks, but how the hell am I supposed to tell what year it is without the stock graphics? And you cant talk lap times because every person is used to a style of bike, like me for example, I am much faster on a KTM than another bike because of that is what I ride and what I am used to. All the magazine lap times are bullshit. Apparently Kawasaki had to change something because the bike is now 27 pounds heavier. Don't want to start shit over bikes though, Just have fun riding a guess.
you can tell the year by the chromoly frame, and ya even though the new ones are much heavier the new ones ride soooo much better. mine does feel light in the air but i dont like the degree of the head tube, feels like theres to much slack and the new ones are a lot tighter and corner much better.
Well yes If I had looked at the frame it would be easier. I knew it was one of the earlier models but crazy how far technology has come. I normally only keep track of Ktm and yamaha stuff so new stuff with other companies are harder to remember what changes.

telling me my kawasaki is sucky is talking shit about it, you trying to say something is sucky when you know nothing about it, dont ride dirtbikes, and are to stupid to know that these bikes are really nice and and so far the lightest 250 made, so why you do me a favor and stfu up until you know something.
Ya umm just saying the KTM 250sxf dry weighs 220.24 pounds (with linkage) and the KX250f dry weighs 231.4 and not to mention the KTM makes the most horsepower in the 250 Class. Not saying that your Kawasaki is not nice, but the KTM is lighter.
my kawasaki is a 2004, in which the dry weight is 204, the 2004-05 kawasaki and suzuki were the lightest 250s ever made, lighter then all the new bikes, you gotta pay more attention if your gonna try to prove me wrong. and the since your talking about the new bikes the kawasaki has faster lap times then the ktm for 2011.
