Ha ha those forks are knackered, I think the crown height is the least of his worries!

 Haha, Aye my 06 RC's have ducktape keeping the preload on the spring in the rebound leg

New paint and internals/seals overhaul should have them running like butter though

Tell this kid to run his crowns lower like, that front must be stupidly high, especially with those bars - His bike would ride a lot nicer if he did!

 Ha ha, his bike would run a lot nicer on 26" wheels, with a chain device that worked, forks that actually had the full amount of travel they were supposed to have and a front brake! He does a good job of riding it as it is though so fair play to him

Ha ha, gaffa tape holding bikes together sounds like a bodge I'd be doing on my bike!

 Och Im full of bodges mate, bolted my brake to the swingarm with a couple of bits of iron which the rear axle holds in place, and my saint mech is made from old baking trays because I couldnt afford a new cage

Yeah I noticed the 24's. I hate to see big bikes on 24's, makes me wonder why they dont just run 26's on a lighter bike with less travel =\

 this is perry we are talking about.... there are many things that perry does that cannot be explained You should have seen his old bike. it was sooooooo much worse then this is mechanically.

 My old 26s were shit and i had 24" wheels lying around, after noticing the frame had got a swingarm mount for 24s i gave it a try and it suited my riding perfectly.

as for the forks they could do with being re-adjusted but there so f*cked i can't be bothered.

 BTW, your forks arent getting full travel? Have you tried stripping and cleaning them and using less oil? Try 150ml instead of the stated 220ml, they'll feel more linear but they'll be plush as fook and you should get full travel.
