OK, I love insest.
^^^^ya i was thinking the same thing. they are obssesed with crashes right now. once in a while these are ok but there is to many of these. not getting me very stoked to go out and ride.
The whole sequence will be in Golden State. It's a slideshow on mountain biking in California. Here's the fanpage for it if you want to know more about it: www.facebook.com/goldenstateslideshow
Yeah Mikey Jordan!!! You made the real wall of shame!!! Yeah Buddy! Note: Please take notice that Mad Mike Jordan made sure to not protect his pretty face but the tool the will make more pretty faces, left hand is there for sucurity!! HAHAHAHAHA!
IN SOVIET RUSSIA BIKE RIDES YOU!!! he was prob riding along "Wow i am just trucking along, holy fuuu-" -f*cks up- -face plant- "BALLS".... "mmm yum dirt" .......
I think this is what makes riding so demanding. The possibility that every turn or jump you take can be just that much off perfection, and can result in this crisp, painful, face plant.
D D D ANOTHER 1 BITES THE DUST LISTEN TO MI SAYIN ( SHOW OFF GO NOWHERE ) NOT THAT U R 1 COS THAT BIKE IS MINT AND UR FULLY KITTED OUT soz i had caps lock on were is that
magic you peice of shit. I thought i taught you how to ride that trail... Is this tunnel or cold springs? I haven't seen you since mammoth dude! whats up?
Well, since I was the one on the bike eating a face full of dirt, i can vouch for the fact that it's for sure not a fake! There's a whole sequence before the crash that's quite funny too but somebody *cough* PAT *cough* won't show them to me!
Yep, I knew it was coming. That is not the first time I crashed in that same spot during that shoot either, but this one was waaaaaaaaayyyyy more intense then the other ones!
DId it?? He looks so freaking WASTED down there and seems like the bike is havin good times, while the pilot is ejected downwards Sick timing by the phtogrph....
that guy saw vod in the dirt and went for it! sick! just wonderful! I cant beleive how much this has inspired me to ride! VODVODVOD vod loved it vod loved it vod loved it vodvodvodvodVOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No there not i have a leatt brace for motocross and ive had a bad crash where my neck should of been broken they have been proven and its best to be safe and ha yes people do break there necks. its probberly because your not allowed one because there to much monney. thats why you say there crap.
Flipside, they are incredible important for motocross as mx is a lot more dangerous, I'm not guna disagree with that. But come on, no one breaks their neck racing downhill. and anthonytutor, shut the fuck up you lieing twat.
Yes but at the rate Moutain biking is progressing people need them. but i do agree just for riding some trails and small stuff is stupid i wouldnt even wear mine even though i have one.
Wtf Sam Hopkins, I know a family that all do motorcross, they came to a race to check out Dh and they said that DH is worse, in MX you crash and you roll and you get up. DH you crash and you keep rolling. Idiot.
NO, in mx you have a huge heavy bike land on top of your head and your neck gets crushed. in dh you have a light, small bike land on you and you end up with some minor bruising. No offence, but you have to be pretty retarded in the face to think that dh is worse.
Sam Hopkins....ya, I'm the one in the photo. Let me clear some things up for you. I've been racing DH for YEARS now and as the courses get more and more technical there is gear that is pretty much required. For example; The Sol Vista National Championship DH course was pretty gnarley for a DH race. Our course had 40+ft doubles (going up past 50')and plenty of spots to crash super hard.
Secondly, you're probably not the only person here that also rides moto. I've been riding moto for a while and yes...the crashes can really hurt and you can break your neck. I've cartwheeled off a 90' jump and am very happy I had the leatt. I personally am more comfortable and relaxed on a moto then when I'm out racing or riding DH. Also, I consider DH a lot crazier then moto depending on where and what you are riding.
Finally, you have to be an f'n idiot if you think nobody in DH has broken their neck. I have a friend that has broken his neck from it and is lucky to even be walking.
Hopkins...watch this and tell me the course was super simple and has no potential for a broken neck. I'm used to jumping a moto and these jumps scared the crap out of my on a DH bike. It is a "Pro Only" course and yes, it's fun but kind of scary at the same time.
There's a reason why more and more top riders are wearing a Leatt. With the progression of the sport, the UCI courses and our "National" courses are getting more and more technical.
hopkins if all your talking about how MX is so cool and difficult why the fuck are you on this site get the fuck off and im such a liar... you can ask both of those kids that fucked up their necks they both have a pinkbike.... and i have raced MX and MX does not have knarly rock gardens or trees you can run into with your head... Your reaction speed has to be twice as fast for DH you dont have to dodge rocks at 25mph on 3 inch wide tires
I ride MX and I ride trails, dirt jump in all the time i have had more injuries on a pedal bike, but when you do have a motocross crash at a speed it hurts more but you ussualy break bones also when your going of 90ft jumps and you let say loose control going up one you need the neck brace to support you neck as you land especially if you come up short. let me just get to the point MX is more Dangrous sport but what people are doing these days on pedal bikes there increaseing there chances of hurting thereselves without a heavy hot burning lum of metal landing on you.
Wuffy wtf! I was watching steve peat and Josh Bryceland at a race a while back and they were sectioning a little section. They must have crashed 9 times out of the 10 times they did it. Pros do crash, and since they are going faster than any one else thaey end up having the worst crashes.
Pros may crash, but they are more experienced in holding it together. I know guys that've broken their neck up at my local riding spot. They all could've been avoided with neck braces.
