What will be your asking price on this frame?
  • + 1
flag radrider (Feb 18, 2010 at 16:07)
no asking price because i dont know what to ask, i paid 900 canadian for it last year but now the dollar is messed up and they lowered the price on these frames, so it would cost about 700 canadian now without the paint. so im looking for 700+ w/e people want to offer ont he paint job (80+ hours this one took)
  • + 1
flag jaredhtop (Feb 18, 2010 at 16:13)
i think you could put it on ebay with a asking price of 600+$$ then the bids will go up.
  • + 1
flag radrider (Feb 18, 2010 at 16:19)
ya i was thinking about that, im going to give pinkbike guys a week to give offers starting monday though, then if i dont see any good offers to ebay it goes

flag jaredhtop (Feb 19, 2010 at 14:11)
yeah that is more than likely your best bet man, but i can't see PB'ers giving legitimate offers vs. what it is worth.

flag wyatt-earp (Feb 17, 2010 at 15:55)
Dude the Sharpie paint markers (from my experience) aren't that good. I would look into some of the krink and/or Decocolor paint markers, they work really well.

flag brian02rider (Feb 17, 2010 at 17:02)
yea ive heard krink is pretty good

flag radrider (Feb 17, 2010 at 17:48)
im actually going to be using artline markers, i just tested some out that i got in and they are amazing, when dry they are so tough that they dont even need clear coat.

flag wyatt-earp (Feb 17, 2010 at 18:03)

  • + 1
flag wyatt-earp (Feb 27, 2010 at 11:28)
Copics are by far the best, but probably not for this project.

Ah that sucks man, its the nature of art though - under-appreciated. its not for nothing though, your work is sick, an if it helps to get your name out there, in the future it'll be a good thing if you wana do this as a job/sidejob...
