 Highroller knockoff.
  • + 1
flag adamdigby (Feb 24, 2010 at 20:53)
No way, they roll so much slower, but they grip in turns and under brakes like a mofo. So much better than a highroller, unless your looking for rolling speed.
  • + 1
flag seraph (Feb 24, 2010 at 21:01)
All I mean is that the tread pattern looks almost exactly like the High Roller.
  • + 1
flag adamdigby (Feb 24, 2010 at 21:10)
Well, almost all tires look like a highroller, and Maxxis were not the first ones in the game.

flag seraph (Feb 24, 2010 at 23:03)
No, but the High Roller did come out before the Kaiser.

Is that a Saracen fixie with disc breaks I spy in the background? Seems an odd combo if it is...
  • + 3
flag sam264 (Feb 24, 2010 at 17:25)
looks more like a singlespeed MTB with disc brakes, if so, not that uncommon

flag cronin91 (Feb 25, 2010 at 4:36)
 Its called a hybrid.

flag seraph (Feb 25, 2010 at 9:42)
It's not actually a hybrid. I would call it "confused."

flag Jcougarred (Feb 25, 2010 at 14:31)
i saw it today at ice bike if you look carefully you can see a cable running down the downtube its running either the new alfine hub or the nexus, quite a few of the fixed saracens are. this DH bike is still in the prototype stages hopefully it will be lighter its supposidly around the 45lb mark did feel heavy at the show

flag seraph (Feb 25, 2010 at 14:43)
That makes more sense than singlespeed.

guess not everyone rides everything they can get their hands on...
I'm guessing its like what i have right now a 700c internally geared commuter bike..

guess there aren't a lot of couriers or commuters on this site..
  • + 1
flag seraph (Mar 3, 2010 at 1:20)
I'm a commuter. I commute 60 miles a day, 5 days a week. By truck, thank the Gods.

flag Jcougarred (Mar 3, 2010 at 10:09)
I commute but on my dj bike Big Grin bout a 7 mile round trip 5 days a week keeps me going until the weekend for some downhill riding.
