 well if we're talking about most expensive guitars, then there are no better ones than Mansons MB-1. (excluding custom made ones)

 ESP's are anything BUT expensive, my £150 M-50 is still going strong, and plays better than my Gibson Les Paul Studio imo, albeit with an EMG 81 pickup upgrade.

 That's because of the amp. Sound quality depends on: 75% amp, 20% pick-ups, 5% other.

 Its not the sound which makes a nice guitar, its the feel Smile ESP necks are fast, especially the higher end MH-series, they play extremely quick!
