Too bad Bender is all balls and not a lot of skill... He is like Babe Ruth, most home runs while holding the most strikes at the same time...
The guy lands 1 in 4 attempts at anything, yeah jaw drop is mental but half the shit you see him do on vids he lands like shit, sketchy and loose. Props on the jaw drop attempt non the less
Not only that but he's also a very skilled trail rider from all accounts I've read. Its just that people knew him for his huge hucks and that's what paid his bills, so that's what he did.
When it comes to him getting bucked a whole lot, just look at the terrain that he rode. He primarily rode natural terrain in his movies and went big into ungroomed loose dirt and rocks. Personally I find it hard to say that someone doesn't have a lot of skill for falling in those conditions. That's not even mentioning the horrible state of bicycle suspension at the time.
