looks like a tank... Reminds me of something that was high tech in 1998... sorry just my opinion but I don't think these will be flyin off the shelves...
Well obviously the proto wont look as trick as the finished product, protos are only made to experiment with the feel between the bike and rider. Once they've found out what "feel" they want they can put that tech into something which looks nice. You will probably find that if this makes it to the shelf that it wont look anything like the bike in this photo, you may not recognise it as the same bike.
this is really nice lol kinda weird though how they ran the same design (303) for like 4 seasons then their making 2 significantly different frames within a year , first the rdh then this lol like it alot , atleast their not afraid to try new designs lol unlike kona haha
I don't think so Yeti never does any affordable stuff:P I think they're trying to replace the "old" 303 with something new....but they couldn't really make any better frame than the old, trusty 303..
This bike is defintly porn. I hope it works pretty good, so I can buy it next year Can anyone tell me something bad about their bikes? I always liked Yeti's but could never ride one
my buddy and i saw this bike at a race in fontana and talked to one of the yeti mechanics about it, he said with this bike they are going for something in between the DH and RDH, you cant see it in this photo but there is one rail along the rear of the front triangle running up and down
Because if somebody on Pink Bike knows something they think that obviously everybody should know it. I think it was a good question, it sometimes looks like forks are getting bigger. The nice way to answer would be something like "Sometimes it might look like they're getting bigger, but really they're still the same"
That's why I put the smiley face at the end of my smart-ass reply... so it's not misinterpreted as being mean. Where as the old facepalm would absolutely be considered insulting. Ah, netiquette.
it takes a little wile in the beginning but once you get the hang of it you create a rythm cleaning and its done pretty fast, still longer than other bikes though
alot of the time the brake is held on using a rubber band and someone holds the bike and quickly gets out of the shot when the picture is taken then jumps back to grab the bike before it falls
