thegb1212 - its a tapered headtube, goes from 1 1/8th at the top to 1.5 at the bottom.

why would you a put a shorter travel fork in the front than what you had in rear suspension?

more nimble, trust me it comes in handy on a flatter or more mellow course, when a dual crown fork with 203mm of travel would be over kill.
