Probably the worst way to go over the bars..... Youd be propelled while your bike just stays stuck betwen the two trees... Rofl.

for some people it might be a trend... but for tall people wider bars make alot easier riding you dont get sore arms, i'm 6ft 4 nd i cant ride any bars under 30inch while my arms hurting

For some reason i ride with a wider stance you could say and it looked weird and was uncomfortable with shorter bars. But when I got wider ones it felt alot better. I think they look Weird TBH

wide bars do give you alot more control tho, i got some raceface atlas bars recently and they give alot more control and stability, but i have definately found they take some getting used to in tight trees.

I totally agree withe stability and control thing. I ride a dirt/street bike and wider bars really make many things easier. Oh.. and I don't have any problems with trees..Big Grin

Wide bars make me hop and manual like shit on my street/park bike. They helped flat cornering on the DH bike but I cut them down because they sap away any riding style I had. Still have the confidence having used them full length mind.
