yeah, its a bit bumpy on the first though but yeah it could work, i have seen people do them

I think they would be quite hard a bmx though.

Not really. As long as you have the speeed and rythm, you'd be fine I suppose. (But obviously)the Hardtails can absorb harsher landings and are bigger in general so are easier to ride bigger jumps with. Although, I'd prefer a Bmx.
