Dirtbadluvin, if you was going down a steep cliff, what's going to happen if your front brake produces the most stopping force? You're going over the bars quicker than your bikes going down that cliff face? Cydaps, I agree mate.

no ... use your front brake just dont lock it up aslong as your far enough over the rear you wont go over the bars and you will stop twice as fast

Why? From the other photos you know he can see the line he wants and has a clear run out to stop. Just hold the rear brake slightly and go for it. To be honest, touching the front brake is probably the worst thing you could do.

No its not. I sometimes lock my front brake on loose steep stuff, but I've never gone over the bars cause I'm far enough back to balance the stopping forces.

On loose ground that has worked for me cos you cant lock up your wheel that easily. On this, it locks up im sure your going over them.
