looks like his back because the cable goes to under his number and down the bike whilst the other one is more bent and loose so its obviously his back brake he is pullin

Ya i tried to look and see if thats where the cable looks like its going. sure does
its a back brake im pretty sure.

Ok I don't really care honestly. but the right brake "my left from this point of view" looks like its going between the crown of the fork so it can run down the frame to the back
while the other brake is outside the stantion and curling down like its running down the lowers of the fork

Timeout boys and girls. If you look at his fingers, he's not actually pulling either brake. The levers are both out, which would lead me to believe that he just has his finger resting on the brake lever...
Obviously he doesn't want to grab the brake, because he's gonna ride it out and that would just slow him down.
