I think it's POD worthy. Great shot, crisp, with good color range. Big move at a cool location...

My only complaint would be that the landing was a bit nose heavy.

@ lingus... Maybe that he's "only" turning (and there, he's only jumping... It's a drop, there's nothing difficult with that kind of jump... my grand-ma can do this one...) but the photographer is not only taking picture in 2-3 seconds! Good settings, good light, good view needs a lot of time! And there, the picture is not exceptionnal...

getting rid of woburn will only push riders underground, the forestry commission will regret it when illegal jumps start appearing everywhere. I'm going to give it a few months, then go back and start digging downhill lines, easy to make, hard to get rid of.

I hate to get into this never ending argument about PODs but just because another picture deserves POD doesn't mean this one doesn't, or any others for that matter. It just means that those other pictures deserve their own day as well. It's not called best picture ever it's just the pic of the day so relax and enjoy. Also I like it when people post links to other nice pics because you see a lot more so keep that up and they'll have their day as well!

Too many people seem to think that the most amazing picture ever taken is going to be uploaded every day just so that they can look at an "epic" POD. What some individuals fail to realize is that the number of pictures that are so amazing that they stop you in your tracks are few and far between, which is what makes them so amazing.

To the rider and the photographer, amazing work. Its good to see pictures of people still hitting the big natural drops like that one.

Yeah, and I'm poor. But - I'm an avid enthusiast of certain things, and for those things I support them as much as I can. Mountain biking happens to be one of those things. If I can help it grow in any way, I'd do it. I use Pinkbike a lot, I've sold a lot of things on Pinkbike, I've bought a lot of things off Pinkbike, I've found tons of resourceful information on Pinkbike, I've met many new friends on Pinkbike.

If I had to pay $1 a day for a month to use Pinkbike, I would.
