what part of that groupset is XT mate? definitely not the brakes, cranks, front or rear mech.... so that would just be the shifters then?

Well no as I said in the add the brakes are lx, however the rear mech is xt and the cranks are hollowtech I xt, the front mech may be lx not too sure but thanks for DEFINITELY been wrong about most of what you wrote.
