its not too much of a drama, as here in australia they cancell all the Dh if it rains cos they cant drive up the track.lol. had it out in the mud the other day though and it didnt fair any worse than my olk kona or my mates v10 for clag build up.
Ah, good for you! Have a Heckler and put a bit of a plastic milk carton on the lower bottle holder, acts as a mud/dust guard for the pivot perfectly. And fair comment about riding DH in the wet. Tried that in the UK, didn't like it one bit. Nor did my Norco - I ripped the rear mech hanger off thanks to the mech getting clogged with dirt and cranking it off with the chain...!!!
