 Is that a good lens?
  • 2 0
its a GREAT lens, but again, its also very dependent on what you want to do with that lens. What do you expect from it?
  • 3 0
im personally looking for a wider angle lens that gets crisp shots.
  • 4 0
well the 35mm you linked isn't a wide angle lens, its going to give you a nice depth of field but might not be the super sharp crisp shots your looking for, i suggest checking out some of this guys work:

www.tomguilmette.com/wp
you can really learn alot about different lenses from watching his blog videos.

At 41 seconds is the kind of shot you will get with that 35mm lens. This is probably at F/1.8

those "geeks" youre calling them .. are the ones making your nice pics when you can perform eventually..
  • 4 0
Im sorry plumstick but I see no reason for you to even need to comment on something you obviously understand so little about.
  • 5 0
lol, plumstick you probably sound like a geek to non-bikers when you talk about stanchions, dropouts, and the newest heat-dissipation system for your hydro disk brakes.

im not sure this is the f/1.8 II, it looks more like the f/1.4 but I could be wrong.

  • 1 0
It would suck to see that thing roll away down the hill!!
  • 1 0
Ya that would be funny but suck tup
  • 1 0
 damn thats legit
  • 1 3
I know this is a stupid question but what is the point of this? why cant you just use a tripod?
  • 2 0
because it rolls on a track so thats how you get the moving shots...
  • 11 0
It vastly increases the sickness of your footage.
  • 2 0
hahaha, highly technical explanation sir! I like it! haha
