Zip tie is to prevent the standard "ata wind down" flaw these forks have. ATA knob works as designed to adjust travel but if you are riding fast chattery DH runs the ata knob will turn a few turns after each run which slowly decreases your travel. I did buy the stiffer ata knob detent springs that some have had good luck with but never ended up putting them in because the zip tie works perfectly. I will include them if you want to give em a shot but the zip tie is easy to slide out of the way when you want to adjust your travel and it completely prevents any ata wind down. Hope that helps.

gonna stay firm on price for a bit. Not in a rush and will drop the price if I get no takers in the next few weeks.
