hey man, how tall are you, im 5,6, and unsure weather i need a medium or small.

I'm 6 foot but probably should be riding a large. If you go to the Santa Cruz website then click on "bullit" and then "specifications" you can find a sizing chart. According to that they say 5'6 could go either way.
