So what happens when you have like 1 little spot you mess up on, what do you do?

flag danthecarlover (Dec 31, 2010 at 19:01)
probably use alcohol wipes or something to remove it and redo it? Rolleyes

flag radrider (Jan 14, 2011 at 14:05)
if its a big messup i usualy try to get the alcohol to it fast, if that doesnt work which it usualy doesnt, because once industrial sharpie dries fully, about 30 seconds its there for life no matter what u have to take it off, unless u want the base paint gone too. otherwise i just turn the messup into another peice of the design.

how much does it cost for you to do this
  • + 1
flag radrider (Sep 26, 2010 at 11:19)
$300 for a complete frame including clear coat, takes 40 hours
  • + 1
flag luigi (Oct 4, 2010 at 20:31)
what about like part of the frame like some of the CoC frames you did, so like only the headtube and a few other parts are done.
  • + 1
flag radrider (Oct 4, 2010 at 21:13)
it would be around half the cost.
  • + 3
flag smike (Oct 18, 2010 at 19:44)
You work for $300 for 40 hours of work??? That's $7.50/hour! Minimum wage is $10.25/hour! And that's not even including materials!

flag radrider (Oct 18, 2010 at 19:56)
and some people still dont put the cost and hours of work together =P, thanks

You've got some serious skills. Learn to market yourself well and you can make some good money with your talent. Don't sell yourself short! If people won't pay more than $300 for a frame, then you need to figure out how to do it faster. And if you can't do it faster, you need to figure out how to charge more! Seriously... people will pay for quality work, and this is quality work!
