Selected by Ian Hylands - I'm not a big fan of crash POD's, you can probably tell that by how few I've actually chosen in the past few months. This one is an exception, I really like it... I like it because it's a great well lit shot, that happens to feature a crash, it probably would have been a good shot if he hadn't crashed as well...

Great satisfaction turning back home and finding one of my pics on PinkBike POD and seeing so many people here. First of all thanks to Ian for choosing this image as POD and many thanks to all the people for your faves & comments. Every type of comments appreciating or not this picture, having a reaction or a total different one seeing it... in simple words thanks to all for expressing your opinion, positive or not, they are make me improve my self and hope turning back as soon as possible with new pics that you can enjoy Wink

At the end I will tell you the story of why there is a published crash image between all the others. I remember taking this picture on the IXS European DH Cup in Pila, that was a hell of a race, and I remember most of this race ta faces of the latest 10 riders in the final that were trying to beat the time made by Lorenzo Suding, the local kid Wink

, in qualifications, if I remember well unbeaten in final... and I remember most how Wyn hes arrived to that section where I was photographing... way faster than all the others and charging like hell... but something happened... and doesn't mater what and why... what was incredible is seeing this crash and in a couple of seconds seeing Wyn again on his bike shredding again like before, and more than this arriving on sixth place after this crash... this is why I have a lot of respect for this warriors and this is the reason why this photo is remembering me of a special gest made by this guy Wink
