rubber takes time to rebound. It's still coming back in that spot because of whatever impact. DH tires are pretty thick.

he has got a flat back tyre, if you look at the other photo http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/5626696/ you can see th back tyre has come away from the bead. no doubt about it, flat tyre.
