I have a box of '80's North Shore stuff (where I grew up in Deep Cove), as well as all Brett's stuff from the '80's, '90's....I think they are great archives and I wish everyone could see them, they are so funny and so awesome and sick at the same time. So yes, a retrospective is in order for sure!
um you use a board that you keep just for sandboarding of course you can't use them for both. Tippie would use one when he blew and edge or it was past its best on the snow, then keep it for sandboarding.
but the question is if a snowboard is able to stand using it on sand or it is just a few descends and there are only stickers left without a bottom sliding surface
i think it's not good to use a snow board on sand as it will destroy the wooden sliding surface of a board. i've got a santacruz and i bet it doesn't like sand as it does not defragmented bits of rocks scattered on a snow trail in the Alps, where i used to ride. i like the "yup" thing
