how the f do you steal a bike from interbike
  • 8 0
yeah i wanna know this too? i assume if it's just in a stand like that, whoever stole it just literally walked out with it looking all official?
  • 3 1
thats what i think, there must have been some lack of security if someone could have just took it, but, they'll get caught and get whats coming to them.
  • 1 0
You honestly can't do anything with this. You can't sell, ride, or show anybody. Whoever stole these just dug them selves a big hole.
  • 2 0
its obviously going to be alot harder then walking out the door with it. you might have to go so far as to pick the right box from their baggage

so stupid why would you steal a pros bike cue your just going to get caught with it eventualy you cant even try to sell it cuse theres going to be a bunch of publicity of it going missing. i hope the person dumb enough to do that gets caught soon and he/she should be made an example of what happens to ppl who steal bikes
  • 6 0
There were a number of very custom one of a kind bikes stolen last night, the kind of bikes that you can't sell, or even show anyone. Prototype and athlete bikes with custom and or prototype parts.
  • 2 1
not cool, how did they get stolen?
  • 4 1
My sentiments excactly,i mean a building with millions of pounds worth of bikes and kit should be c.c.t.v'd to the max,i can't understand how a number of bikes could get stolen from an high end bike show such as interbike.
And if the twats who did it are into bikes themselves, they'll probably be stripped down by now,it's only the frame and maybe the fork that are gonna get them caught and if they're into bikes they'll know this. After reading Ian Hylands comment though,as much as i hate to say it,maybe Interbike want to look into outside help they hired for the occasion, cos all on one night tells me a group of people did it.If one bike goes missing it can be put down to an oppurtunist thief. But when a number of high end custom rigs go on the same night, oppurtunity has nothing to do with it,it was probably planned by a number of people, and like i said Interbike want to look into any outside help they had putting on the occasion.Just my opinion.I hope all bikes are recovered and the culprits taken out the back for a good pasting whilst waiting for the Police to arrive.

is this the same company that makes the corsair crown?
  • 12 0
i'd be so pissed if that got jacked from me Frown
  • 18 1
who in the right mind would steal that? you cant ride it because you'll get caught within seconds, and you cant sell it, because you'll get caught withing seconds. you might be able to berry it in the ground in the ass end of nowhere. but there isn't much point in that.

Its like when the infamous Honda RN01 bike was stolen, somehow they never got caught and I cant think of a more custom bike ever made for a pro. Probably sitting at the bottom of a lake somewhere. What else was stolen? Details? What ever happened to security?
  • 12 0
i hope they live a shit life

you my friend, are an idiot
  • 7 0
but hey i want to know how the fuck he got it out unnoticed
  • 1 3
Such a sick!!!! who in the right mind would take such a beautiful bike!
  • 11 1
(to lordpappy) Why would you ever say anything like that? Anyone who steals a bike, good or bad is absolutely insane and should ride their supercycle off a cliff. If anyone has had a bike stolen or knows someone who has understands my anger with your comment. It's just not right!

i like the uniqueness of the old crowns top tube if you dont no what im talking about look at my profile under "new bike" pics
  • 1 0
im not really into the old design considering the dirt must fly up through the tubes like crazy, up to your face.
  • 1 0
ahah no dirt does not fly up through there

Anyway, I was wondering if you can tell me the settings that you`ve used to take this photo...I`m kinda curious and just wanted to know more about photography, it is a hobby of mine Smile

Hello everyone this is Pablo from Corsair and I would like to say hi and give some detail as to how and when it happened. The thefts or two of our prototype bikes happened overnight along with a Giant/fox and Specialized bikes. Kelly's Dominion rampage bike was stolen with his team-only green Hope brakes on it and the Toro 4x/DJ bike which is also green. I will ask Ian to load a pic of the Toro and Kelly's bike with brakes to show exactly what to look for. Thank you to everyone you wants these A!!holes caught and hung and they wont be hard to spot in the future. I felt bad for Kelly and Bryson Martin at Marzocchi for loosing out the most in this and I'm curiously waiting on the final outcome to who ever slimed there way in and out of Interbike.

Pablo
