It's stiffer than any cross country fork. I'd be scared to break an XC fork if I was using it for dirt jumping, freeride and DH, but when you use it for what it's made, this is the best option hands down. The only downside is that Cannondale knows that they make the best XC fork out there, and they make you pay for it.
I have one and it's easy to fix and easy to use the best fork on the bike I have now and I'm looking to build another thank God there's people who think they are hard to work with and easy to break!
I love it when people on PB who nothing about Lefty's feel the need to comment No, that's not broken, that's how it's designed. It's sort of quick release so it is easier to take the front wheel off because you need to move the caliper in order to do so.
