I myself have the sportcount stopwatch well worth the money has aided my riding loads shaved 7 seconds off my local track because of it

I don't think the watch shaved 7 seconds of your time. I suppose the watch just let you now HOW much faster you go.

well i meant in terms of i knew where i could push harder to ride on the edge but still be quicker than easing back and on the track which lines were quicker, which meant i could hook up the lines in the fastest time possible

I know what you mean man.... I got my fastest run ever on a local trail because I was using a Freelap system and riding with gnarly people lol
