i like how you captured the opposite textures on the top and bottom of the frame. rough ground and smooth concrete. and the sense of depth towards the background. great great photo!
shiit dude, if you knew what a mission it was getting them set up like that... no place to walk on top of the pipe & running up it with a tripod & flash was a bit of a challenge & nearly killed myself, but all super worth it! Had one either side of the bridge on the right & 1 kinda next to me on the left that was just leaning on some grass... I need to go back to this spot again... is too good!
yeah, he wanted to do a Ruben wallride on the other side, but didn't get it as nice as he wanted & we needed to get some stuff done further down the pipe & didn't have much light left, so I'll have to get to that next time!
if I'd seen his shot before I went I probably wouldn't have taken it like this, don't like copying angles, but it is by far the best composition for this spot & saw it like this as we walked to it. When I saw his shot on a site I thought it was mine at 1st haha kinda bummed, cos anyone who knows his work & sees this will think I copied him. Oh well...
thats pritty shity man, feel sorry for you...i also know that with some ideas i had...you work on a project a while and you think, this wasn't before there ...you see someone else had already taken this shot...thats so crapy
yeah, had that with a few ideas I came up with & was really amped to try & then see a shot like it before I get to try it. Most of the time I just leave it & try come something else, but it isn't easy! I saw his shot after I took this, so I don't mind, just don't like that people might think that I copied him. I know I didn't & that's all that really matters I guess.
